The establishment of Indreshwar Campus in 2058 B.S. was initiated by local education enthusiasts and social workers with the objective of providing students who had completed Grade 12 at Shree Indreshwar Higher Secondary School and other nearby schools with the opportunity to pursue quality higher education in Panauti itself.
Since its establishment, the campus has always received considerable support and cooperation from the local community. In 2066 B.S., on the occasion of the 12-yearly Makar Mela, the then Campus Management Committee decided to organize the recitation of the Shiva Purana of Shivashakti Kalyani Mata, along with a month-long program, to raise financial support for the construction of the Indreshwar Campus building and for the operation of the postgraduate program in the Management stream. Through the tireless efforts of the members of the Campus Management Committee, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students, the funds collected from that program were used to initiate the construction of the campus building.
However, the construction of the campus building has still not been completed. Therefore, we have now begun the remaining work in a new manner and under new management. Our objective is to complete the construction work and inaugurate the building at the appropriate time.
Our commitment is to provide quality, technology-friendly, and research-oriented education for the overall development of the country and to produce disciplined, ethical, skilled, capable, competent, patriotic, and honest citizens. We remain committed to developing this campus into a high-quality higher-education center with affordable fees and to working actively toward achieving these objectives.
It is also our commitment to provide facilities and scholarships to poor and deserving students and to honor outstanding students. We will give priority to improving students’ academic standards and encourage their participation and interest in sports, dance, singing, social service, and other activities. We also aim to establish a system of rewards and disciplinary measures, formulate various regulations for the campus, ensure compliance with those rules, and inspire a sense of belonging in the community through the feeling that “Indreshwar is my campus.”
In addition to developing the campus as the most popular center of knowledge in the Panauti area, we aim to remain actively engaged in the physical and academic advancement of the campus. We are confident that all concerned will provide their support and cooperation in helping us fulfill these objectives.
